Holy Communion and Baptism - our TWO Sacraments
Holy Communion
is celebrated at all services the first weekend of the month; all
are welcome to participate. On Saturdays and for the 8 am summer Sunday service,
communion is served by "intinction" which simply means "to dip." Worshippers come
forward , take a piece of bread and dip it in either wine or grape juice (whichever is best
for you) thereby receiving communion individually 'together.' Individual cups are also
available for those who choose not to intinct. At 10 am Sunday services trays of bread
and cups of juice are passed from one person to another until all are served. Adults and
children of all ages are invited to commune with their church family and with our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ. Gluten-free bread is always available.

Baptism is provided for all ages as a sign and seal of God's invisible grace through
which we are forgiven and our inclusion into God's family. Infants, children, and adults
may be baptized when a desire is expressed (by the individual or by the parents on their
child's behalf) to enter into a covenant with the church and God - promising to grow in
faith, Christian witness, and service.
